Limeijia Textured Coating is an artistic architectural coating with various series such as sand glue coating, sand-scraping coating, sandstone coating, Yajing stone coating, straw coating, ceramic holes coating, rice-holes coating, textured relief coating, and textured embossing coating. It is suitable for both interior and exterior walls. With its unique rugged texture, uneven surface, and rich colors, the product is widely favored in modern wall art aesthetics.

Applications of Textured Coating

The product is available in two formulations: one for interior walls and one for exterior walls. The interior wall textured coating uses a low-odor formula, while the exterior wall textured coating employs a weather-resistant formula.

The product is widely used for the decoration and protection of exterior walls of various buildings, including villas, residences, guesthouses, hotels, schools, hospitals, museums, art galleries, libraries, concert halls, sports centers, office buildings, commercial plazas, industrial parks, factory workshops, stations, and national infrastructure projects.

Packaging Specifications

• Interior Wall Textured Coating: 28kg/barrel (20L cylindrical plastic barrel: height 38cm, upper diameter 30.9cm, lower diameter 29.8cm) (excluding straw paint).
• Exterior Wall Textured Coating: 30kg/barrel (20L cylindrical plastic barrel: height 38cm, upper diameter 30.9cm, lower diameter 29.8cm).

Supporting Coatings and Usage

1. Primer: Theoretical consumption is 8-9㎡/kg (one coat). Actual consumption may vary depending on wall roughness or application method.
2. Textured Coating: Theoretical consumption is 2-3kg/㎡ (two coats). Actual consumption may vary depending on the type of textured coating, wall roughness, or application method. Theoretical consumption for straw coating is slightly lower.
3. Line Coating (optional): Theoretical consumption is 80-100㎡/kg (one coat for line marking). Actual consumption may vary depending on the size of the divisions or the width of the lines.
4. Finish coat: Theoretical consumption is 6.5-8㎡/kg (one coat). Actual consumption may vary depending on wall roughness or application method.

Note: We will provide and confirm the necessary coatings for your project based on your desired results.

Application Tools

For troweling application: trowels, scrapers, burnishing knives, rollers, brushes, sponges, scrapers, mixers, grid tape, masking tape, protective film, crystal rubbing board, sandpaper, wall grinders, files, embossing molds, etc. (Tools should be prepared according to project requirements).

Wall Inspection and Environmental Requirements Before Application

• The wall to be coated should already have a putty layer applied, with a firm, clean surface that is free of cracks, peeling, dust, hollowing, lime bursts, poorly adhered old coatings, and oil stains. The wall moisture content should be less than 5%.
• The ambient temperature should be above 8°C, with a relative humidity below 75% RH.

Flat Troweling Effect (Applicable for Sand Glue Coating, Straw Coating, Sandstone Coating, etc.)

1. Use line coating and grid tape to create line divisions on the wall as needed. Remove the grid tape after Step 3 (optional).
2. Roll/spray primer (one coat).
3. Apply a thin and even layer of textured coating as a base color. Once dry, apply a second coat of textured coating.
4. For interior walls: Hand-sand with sandpaper for a fine and smooth finish.
5. Roll/spray finish coat varnish (one coat).

Textured Pattern Effect (Applicable for Sand-Scraping Coating, Yajing Stone Coating, Ceramic Holes Coating, Rice-Holes Coating, Textured Embossing Coating, etc.)

1. Use line coating and grid tape to create line divisions on the wall as needed. Remove the grid tape after Step 5 (optional).
2. Roll/spray primer (one coat).
3. Apply a thin and even layer of textured coating as a base color. Once dry, apply a second coat of textured coating.
4. While the second coat is still wet, use appropriate texturing tools to create patterns, ensuring uniform and harmonious distribution (tools include brushes, sponges, scrapers, crystal rubbing board, textured rollers, etc.).
5. Smooth the surface with a burnishing knife (optional).
6. For interior walls: Hand-sand with sandpaper for a fine and smooth finish.
7. Roll/spray finish coat varnish (one coat).

Relief Effect (Applicable for Textured Relief Paint, etc.)

1. Use line coating and grid tape to create line divisions on the wall as needed. Remove the grid tape after Step 5 (optional).
2. Roll/spray primer (one coat).
3. Apply a thin and even layer of textured coating as a base color.
4. Spray one coat of textured coating using a natural stone coating spray gun.
5. Slightly smooth the surface with a burnishing knife to create a relief effect.
6. Roll/spray finish coat varnish (one coat).

Standard Application Steps

1. Roll-coat one layer of special artistic primer.
2. Use the base color coating from the Liquid Wallpaper set and roll-coat one layer.
3. Use a seaweed sponge to apply the finish coatings from the Liquid Wallpaper set. The finish coatings consists of parts A and B, which should be applied separately in even dabs.
4. Use artistic printing coating and a printing mold to create decorative patterns (optional).
5. Allow a curing period of 7 days.

Precautions During Application

1. Before large-scale application, test-coat 1-2㎡ on the wall to confirm that the color and effect match the standard sample before proceeding.
2. For large-scale applications, perform line divisions and use suspended platforms for construction to avoid pole marks caused by scaffolding.
3. It is recommended that the same batch of coating be applied by the same team of workers on the same wall to ensure consistent surface effects and avoid uneven finishes.
4. Stir the product thoroughly before use. This product does not require dilution.
5. Application is strictly prohibited when the ambient temperature is below 8°C, the relative humidity exceeds 70% RH, or during rainy, foggy, or windy weather, as this will affect the formation of the coating.
6. During breaks or after application, seal any unused coating tightly to prevent it from drying out in the barrel. Clean tools and clothing promptly; otherwise, dried coating will be difficult to remove.
7. It is recommended to reserve 3-5 barrels of material for future maintenance.

Coating Drying Time

• Primer: Drying time is at least 4 hours. Apply the textured coating only after the primer is completely dry.
• Textured Coating: Allow at least 72 hours for full drying. For recoating, wait at least 24 hours. Apply the finish coat only after the textured coating is completely dry.
• Finish coat: Drying time is 2 hours.
• After application, the wall requires a natural curing period of 7 days.

Storage, Transportation, and Disclaimer

Storage and Transportation

1. Transportation: The product is non-flammable, non-explosive, safe, non-toxic, and harmless. Avoid excessive stacking.
2. Storage: Store in a sealed container in a dry, cool place at a temperature of 5-30°C. Avoid frost and direct sunlight.
